The purpose of Ngati Whakaue Tribal Lands Incorporated is:
- To maximise shareholder wealth
- To safeguard and improve customary lands
- To benefit the people of Ngati Whakaue Tribal Lands Inc. (shareholders & beneficiaries) and increase their opportunities in life.
Vision Statement
- By 2005, Ngati Whakaue Tribal Lands will have developed a pre-eminent, large scale farming operation - including forestry and horticulture - performing among the top 10% of farms in New Zealand.
- By 2010, Ngati Whakaue Tribal ands will have grown its net asset base to $100 million and broadened its focus and investments to become a leader in farming, tourism and other key economic sectors in New Zealand and internationally.
- By 2020, Ngati Whakaue Tribal Lands will be recognised nationally and internationally as an excellent organisation with a portfolio of high performing, sound investments in key sectors of the national and international economy.
